What is a CBA® (Certified Bitcoin Asset)?
A CBA® (Certified Bitcoin Asset) is a native Bitcoin Layer 1 inscription on a single satoshi, created via Ordinals. It acts as an immutable certificate of provenance and authenticity for a real-world or digital asset, permanently recorded on the Bitcoin blockchain.
What does a CBA® certificate prove?
A CBA® certificate proves that one specific real-world work is genuine, and records where it came from. The certificate body itself — the work, its author, the date of certification and a cryptographic hash of the documentation — is inscribed on Bitcoin Layer 1, not held as a row in our database. Anyone can read it back from a Bitcoin node, without an account and without our permission.
